CountryMemes Contest

UPDATE: The CountryMemes Contest winners are announced!

Below is the original announcement of the CountryMemes Contest published on October 8, 2017.

Get ready to win a backstage experience at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon!

Ever wondered what it would be like to have a behind the scenes experience of the world’s most watched TV music contest? What it would be like to bump into and take a selfie with ESC performers as they prepare to hit the stage? Or to meet some of the key people behind the ESC? Wonder no more!

For a chance to win a behind the scenes package of VIP tickets including hospitality passes and a backstage tour for you and a friend (we are awarding 2 such packages!), all you have to do is submit a comic drawing inspired by the CountryMeme designs (the funny sphere-shaped country flags depicting 2017 contestants) of our Eurovision CountryMemes collection, which you should design from scratch. The comic can feature any country flags of the countries which participate in the ESC or where the ESC is broadcast, and has to depict a funny ESC-related situation. This can be a real situation that has happened in the past or a fictional situation that you create.

The deadline for submitting your works (to is October 29, 2017 and the winners (we will choose 2 winning works) will be announced on November 3, 2017.

Good luck!!!!
