Throwback Thursday (#TBT): Lys Assia

Here’s a memorable snapshot from past editions of Eurovision. Our very first Throwback Thursday (#TBT) is to Lys Assia who won the very first edition of the Eurovision Song Contest in 1956 with her song “Refrain”.

Lys Assia was representing the host country, Switzerland, and apart from her, representatives of six other countries competed in the show’s first edition: Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Luxembourg and Italy, each performing 2 songs, making it 14 entries in total.

Hello,
I am a fan of Eurovision since a long time. I’ve never had the opportunity to live to the contest directly as spectator just by TV, but the passion is intact.
I think it would be agreat idea a collection of t-shirt as a tribute to each candidate of each country (who participated to Eurovision Song Contest) through a collection which used portrait worked with graphic effects, each visual could present a protrait of the artist with a slogan in original language or some typical graphism about related country, as it has made each year on official website for each hosting country.
Thanks for your attention, king regards.
