Superb Salvador Sobral. A magic song, a touching music and an outstanding singer. So proud to be able to understand Portuguese and enjoy the beauty of “Amar pelos dois”!

A few of my favourites there ie Australia and Portugal but a big pity that Finland has not gone through with what was a very good and very different song.BBC listeners were dictated to in no uncertain terms by the early morning DJ Chris Evans who stated confidently that Eurovision was lot of rubbish and also said that BBC Eurovision commentater G. Norton also thinks it total rubbish.Again the trusted voice of the BBC conditions the British public that all Eurovision songs, presenters, interval acts are a waiste of space .The thing is why are British listeners so taken in by the likes of Chris Evans ,and Mr Norton etc, etc, whose views are accepted as truth but who are really just over confident trumped up nobodys ?.Not only do the BBC devalue Eurovision but they also completely destroy the carears of the young up and coming singers who represent the UK such as Lucie Jones and Joe and Jake whose future could be so promising;never mind the bizarre musical aparteid that the BBC practices when it comes to winning entries and other Eurovision acts from the rest of Europe and Australia

I have always watched the Eurovision Song Contest and thisyear is no exception :-) This year I m not happy with the quality of the songs.
I m happy to see Sweden amoung the finalist and I really hope they will do well. For me its the best act of this semifinal. However I would not say it has the exceptionel wow-feeling….but none of the other has it either.
Portugal is a really speciel song which reminds me of songs from old days. Really beautiful and different.
I m not sure of anything this year.
